Located between the ridges of Samaria and the mountains of Hebron, are the mountains of Jerusalem, which stretches in one of the most legendary regions in the world, in the heart of Israel. The city of Jerusalem is built on mount Zion and stretches beyond it. The area around Jerusalem offers many beautiful experiences as well. It is highly recommended to hike the forests that were planted during the foresting of the area by the Israelis; this region is full of natural, ancient and modern sites of all kinds. This piece of land is abundant with ancient pools, natural springs or wells that collect the mountain filtered water. You can find lovely streams or ponds to refresh yourself in the winter and fall, and some may also be found in spring time.

Around Jerusalem are many rural villages, small town and other cities like Beit Shemesh, Mevaseret Tsion, Beitar Elite and Ma'ale Adummim. In a mysterious manner, there seems to be more ancient cities and sites though, in spite of the crowded population around Jerusalem today; it is very common to find ancient settlements near the modern settlements of today, and in other no populated areas.

All around the area of Jerusalem and in the city itself, there are plenty of attractions, guest houses and hotels, cultural tours, restaurants, farms, horse riding, museums and art galleries, markets and shopping centers, Jewish and Hebrew centers, old city tours, History and endless exciting sights.
